Alan, gives a great workout session, with great enthusiasm
I can’t recommend AR fitness classes highly enough. The classes are different each time and there are modifications to suit every fitness level. My favourite aspect is that the class I attend is 30 minutes so I can have this completed before I start work. Alan has created a fun and inclusive environment so along with getting fitter, it is a great opportunity to meet new people. I have seen great results in the couple of months that I have been training with Alan and look forward to continuing my membership.

I’ve returned to exercise after some injuries and lockdown after discovering Alan’s classes for older adults. To say I am delighted I found these classes is an understatement. Alan takes our abilities and limitations into account and the classes are friendly and supportive. Because the classes are small Alan can help with technique to get the best out of the exercise programme. He has introduced us to boxing which is great fun. Alan is very encouraging and I can highly recommend him as a fitness coach.
I would highly recommend Alan as a coach. He is so encouraging and motivational. I had not exercised consistently for years but with Alan’s support I have formed a new and positive habit 🙂 I look forward to attending his classes and would encourage everyone to give a class or PT session a go!
Alan is a great coach/trainer. He is positive & encouraging. His sessions are always varied and are suitable for all ages/ability. I’ve been going to his sessions for some months now & really enjoy them.

AR Fitness Coach is excellent. Since starting with Alan, My fitness level has increased tenfold. I find him brilliant, he has a welcoming environment and he is really helpful the whole time we are doing classes. Its a small group of people so it’s not intimidating. Each of us work at our own individual pace. The class flies by and I highly recommend Alan as a fitness coach.
I absolutely love Alans’ class. The combination of exercises makes the 30 minutes fly by. If you want a high intensity workout that doesn’t take too long , this is for you.
My son (Enaitz) uses AR Fitness Coach, he is always delighted to go to the workouts. Since he joined he has seen improvements week after week. The coach, Alan, tailors the sessions according to my son’s needs and age, he also provides me with a summary of the session workouts, which is reassuring. I find Alan to be really approachable. He is happy to work with my son in any areas needed. I highly recommend giving AR Fitness Coach a go.

I started taking classes with Alan just before Christmas twice weekly on a Monday and Wednesday evening. From week to week my fitness and energy levels have improved. I always feel energised and in great form after the classes. Alan is so friendly, approachable, patient and encouraging and always on hand to help you.
I would highly recommend Alan as a fitness instructor and he has created a gym with such a great atmosphere.
As someone who had no experience with weights or gym equipment Alan has made the experience enjoyable. I am now able to climb any hill or mountain without being breathless! I am so delighted that I took the plunge to join Alan’s classes – highly recommended.
Alan’s classes are inclusive and welcoming. He really makes sure you are working at a pace you feel comfortable at. It’s the only fitness class where I have really felt comfortable being myself. I actually really enjoy the classes and am excited about the progress I am making. I really admire the environment Alan creates in his classes!
Alan’s classes are great, I would highly recommend them. Alan has a lovely encouraging style that gets the best out of everyone without doing the stereotypical shouty trainer thing! It’s a good workout in 30 minutes with no wasted time faffing about! I also love that he varies the workouts all the time so it doesn’t get boring. There is a lovely friendly vibe in class which is down to Alan making everyone feel comfortable.
I started strength building training with Alan just over two months ago. I really enjoy Alan’s approach to working with me. He gets the balance of being supportive and getting you to your limits just right. I have noticed the positive changes this work has had on my body- I’m feeling much stronger already. And also my mind- I always leave feeling great. Alan is also working with my 15 year old son who loves training with him. I can’t recommend Alan as a PT enough.
I’ve always wanted to improve my fitness but found it difficult to get a class that suited me. I tended to get overwhelmed and would give up after only a couple of weeks. But Alan’s class has been completely different.
For the first time I find myself actually looking forward to the classes and I feel a real sense of achievement after. Something that really helped me is that Alan gives modifications to each exercise, so I could start from my pretty unfit level and build up at my own pace. Alan is passionate about fitness and wellbeing, and you feel that in the classes.
He’s motivational and encouraging and creates a great atmosphere that’s friendly, fun and non-judgemental. Even though it’s a group class Alan focuses on the individual too, helping you feel like you can achieve your personal best in every class.
I just can’t recommend Alan highly enough as a trainer. I’m delighted I found his classes. I honestly can’t believe the improvements I’ve felt in my fitness and energy levels in only a few months. And being able to feel these improvements has also been a great boost to my mental wellbeing. I would recommend Alan’s classes to everyone; you won’t be disappointed!
Alan has helped me achieve my goals so far. My overall strength and fitness have improved dramatically. The sessions are great as he makes it fun and enjoyable to train and he is very motivating and encouraging!
Each class is thirty minutes long and the exercises differ meaning that its quick, effective and you go at an intensity to suit you.
If motivation, flexibility, and a personal approach is what you’re looking for in a trainer, then Alan is the trainer for you.

I have completed 9 months on Alan’s personal fitness programme and it has been the best thing I have done for my physical and mental fitness in years. I like lots of other health care workers who work long hours and find prioritising time for your physical wellbeing a challenge. I was also one of those people who felt the gym was inaccessible to me because I didn’t know what to do. However, doing the programme with Alan has changed my approach to exercise and in an easy accessible way helped me make it a priority.
He worked the plan around my work schedule which made it so much easier. And on weeks where I got nothing done, his understanding and supportive approach always got me back on track with helpful solutions and never criticism.
I now enjoy doing exercise and make it a priority as it has done wonders for not only my physical but also my mental wellbeing. In short I would recommend Alan’s programme to everyone.

I reached out to Alan recently given the second lockdown – our team in Berkley Group wanted to keep fit, motivated and have a group activity to help with our mental and physical wellbeing. Alan was very responsive, he was flexible to work around our schedule as an office so we could fit as many into our 30 minute zoom slot as possible.
Alan’s energy is infectious – he is an excellent instructor, takes the time to ensure we’re all doing as we should via video, introducing each exercise in detail before getting started. He encourages throughout the session, so if you feel like giving up there is some positive reinforcement constantly coming your way. The sessions are short, yet extremely effective – great to get a sweat on at lunch time.
Our team enjoyed the session so much that we have signed up for four in total, getting us to the end of lockdown 2.0!
